Rapids Water Park - (561) 842-8756

Rapids is a great water park for South Florida. The prices are higher than local water parks, but usually you can find coupons for discounted admission and they also have certain days where they let parents in for free. I think this water park is better for older kids. If your kids are younger you are probably better going to a local water park and saving the money until they are a bit older. They have a ton of slides that are all a lot of fun.

I used to think that the price of admission was a little steep. That is before I went there recently. This place has 17 different waterslides, a huge wave pool, a lazy river, a kiddie wading area and mini golf. They also have few snack bars, tons of loungers and a picnic area. There seemed to be a good amount of shading too. The lifeguards seemed to be on top of their game, keeping it safe for everyone. PROS: lots of slides CONS: can't think of any

This is one of the largest and oldest waterparks in the area. They are centrally located and have great water slides. If you want a day of fun, go to the Rapids. The park is more expensive than the county water parks. I think it is geared more for older kids than younger kids.
